Intern with Next Generation Language Access!

Next Generation Language Access ( NGLA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide high-quality interpreter training to bilingual high school students so they can pursue a career as a community interpreter upon graduation. In order to fulfill our mission, NGLA employs interns throughout the year in different departments. All interns are eligible to take free language classes with NGLA and can complete interpreter training for free after six months of internship!  If you are interested in building your language skills, supporting students, and/or supporting the interpreting profession, consider interning in one of our departments below!

Intern- Teaching and Mentoring

Time Commitment: 3 hours per week

Summary: This position is designed for students who want to gain practical work experience in the field of language teaching and career coaching.  The intern will learn skills in the following areas:  Language teaching and career coaching ( which includes resume writing, cover letter writing, job interview practice). The intern will be supervised by the Teaching and Mentoring Steering Committee member and/or the Founding Director.

Intern- Marketing and Partnerships

Time Commitment: 3 hours per week

Summary: This position is designed for students who want to gain practical work experience in the field of marketing and partnership building.  The intern will learn skills in the following areas:  Content Creation, Social Media Marketing, Copywriting, and community outreach. The intern will be supervised by the Marketing & Partnerships Steering Committee member and/or the Founding Director.

4. Begin your NGLA position!
